We had a great afternoon with our driver Sergej. He was the best. We had a lot of fun and he explained a lot to about the Etna and the old lava streams. Even our teenager had a blast.
Okay so we were lucky, we were in the right place at the right time. We got to see Etna erupting and watch the lava flow etc. once in a lifetime experience.
That aside, the tour is excellent, we were picked up by Nunzio. He is a lovely guy, really friendly and all round nice person. Davide was our English speaking guide and he was great. Very knowledgeable. All of the drives and guides are good people doing a great job. They are a close and strong team and this comes across.
We were lucky and had a lovely group on the tour which made it even more fun. I will be keeping in contact with some.
Hats off to you GoEtna. I cannot recommend this tour more highly. Go ahead and book, you will not regret it.
This was a great little tour, with excellent knowledgeable guides and good logistics. I would warn that anything below the 2,000ft level really is an ‘easy walkers’ tour, which is great for families, elderly etc.
We spent 4 hours around the volcano, getting lots of information and facts and with lots of beautiful skylines.
Don’t worry, you don’t get near the lava but you get great pictures of all the landscape.
I highly recommend Go Etna, the trip has been organized according to agreement, very well organized in terms of time, quality of cars, nice service, the quide shared interesting , information, and created great atmosphere during the trip. We enjoyed a lot, thanks, I am sure we will take part in other activities offered by Go Etna during next visit to the island
