Catania Sailing Tour: Cyclops Coast & Aperitif: Reviews 17
Small group, friendly skipper, gorgeous water — exactly what we hoped for. Seeing Etna smoking gently behind the coastline from the deck was unforgettable. The half day length is perfect, never felt rushed. A real highlight of our trip.
We sailed past Acicastello and out to the faraglioni and it was pure Sicily. The skipper was attentive and the boat felt brand new. Loved snorkelling at the caves. The wine and snacks at the end were a lovely touch. Couldn't recommend more.
Everything was easy from booking to boarding. The skipper spoke great English and explained the geology of the lava pillows and the islands. Two long swim stops in beautiful water and a genuinely generous aperitif. Brilliant afternoon out of Catania.
Booked late in the season and the weather was perfect. Calm sea, warm sun, and hardly any other boats around. The aperitif on the way back, drifting towards Catania with Etna on the horizon, is a memory I'll keep. Fantastic experience.
A different and far more peaceful way to see this stretch of coast than from land. The skipper was excellent company and clearly loves the area. Swimming beneath the Norman castle was a real moment. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Catania.
Four relaxing hours along the Riviera dei Ciclopi. The stop at Aci Trezza was lovely and we even had time for a short walk in the village. Back on board the Sicilian appetisers were delicious. Professional skipper, beautiful boat, can't fault it.
