Marco picked us up from our hotel as agreed, we visited ice making caves before hiking to one of the craters. While the coast was sunny with 19C, the volcano was covered in snow which was an interesting contrast. The guides were very knowledgeable, very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this company.

This tour was so fun. On the way to Etna we drove through areas with various farms and learned about the agriculture and effects of the volcano on the agricultural industry. We were able to go inside a cave and learn how the community used to cut blocks of ice to bring into town. Then we drove and parked to begin our hike up the volcano. Absolutely stunning. A little history was explained about volcanic activity over the centuries.
After the hike we went to a Cafe for a snack before going back to town. Absolutely marvelous.

Overall it was a great experience. The guide Francesco is very welcoming, friendly and didactic. His explanation of the tectonic plates, the formation of Etna and history of Sicilia behind it was top notch. Greatly recomended!

Our tour was modified because of large amounts of snow. The modifications were fabulous and Francesco was an extraordinary guide. Wonderful experience.

Even with a little cold rain and mist, our half day out was a pure joy. Loved the 4×4 drive and Francesco was a wonderful guide and companion. Walking along dried lava flows was an amazing experience. Highly recommended, with mille grazie to Ciccio!
