You can book a tour directly on our website. During the booking process, you can fill in all necessary datas. Otherwise, you can contact us, via the request form and we will send you a personalized offer via e-mail.

Unfortunately not, because we do not know, whether other guests have something against it. You are welcome to bring your dog if you book a private tour.

Our tours have not been affected during outbreaks in recent years. At the contrary, our tours are even more spectacular then. In case of an eruption we also offer night tours to Mount Etna.

Upon request we also offer “private” trips. Vehicle and guide are exclusively available to you. You also have the possibility to book a tour by minivan. Contact us

You can manage your booking via APP (iphone or android) or via the web (go-etna.net/book).

The main functions through APP:

1) manage one or more reservations
2)Request easily the cancellation of the tour and/or the booked service
3) Track your driver (for transfers)
4) Access exclusive offers

If you have booked a pick-up service at the hotel / address and the pick-up time has not been communicated during your booking, you will receive at least the evening before the tour, a SMS to your mobile phone number and an automatic email with the exact pickup time.

Due to the limited space, it is not possible to carry luggage like suitcases or big backpacks during the tour.

You can bring a small backpack with the items you need for the tour.

Recommended clothing (All tours excluding Etna Emotion 3000 Tour and Etna Summit Trekking)

 From November to March
We recommend a winter jacket, long trousers, a warm hat and sturdy waterproof shoes.

 From April to May
Weather and temperatures can be very different, so we recommend layered winter clothing and trainers.

 From June to September
The weather and temperatures are pleasant, we recommend a T-shirt, trousers or shorts, sneakers. (In any case, it is recommended to have a light jacket with you in case of wind)

Recommended clothing for Etna Emotion 3000 Tour and Etna Summit Trekking

 From November to March

 From June to September
The weather and temperatures are pleasant, but it can get cold at high altitudes. We recommend a windbreaker, long trousers and trekking shoes.

We recommend a winter jacket, long trousers, a warm hat, gloves and sturdy trekking shoes.

For families with children (under the age of 12) we recommend the Half Day or Full Day Jeep Tour or the Etna Emotion 3000m Tour. If you prefer a short tour, the Half Day Jeep Tour would be the best option for you. In case you prefer a full day of adventure including lunch we recommend to choose the Full Day Jeep Tour or the Etna Emotion 3000m Tour. All three tours are including an easy 45 min walk.

Yes of course, in case of allergies regarding the food, please write it down in the comment field during the booking or the request, so we will make sure you will get a special meal.

For all our tours, it is possible to rent trekking shoes (rental fee: 5,00€ per pair). Besides this you can purchase a wind jacket for 20,00€/piece. Please provide the sizes in advance during the booking process or via e-mail.
Our company doesn’t provide any winter jackets or trousers. For the trekking summit tour, you have the option to rent a jacket directly at the meeting point at the Rifugio Sapienza “Etna Sud”.

Motorway Catania-Messina – motorway exit GIARRE – at the roundabout to the right, after approx. 300m on the right hand side

Payments & Refund

We offer different payment methods:

  • Bank Transfer in advance: Please make the payment no later than 7 days before excursion, so that the amount arrives in time to our bank account.
  • Credit card in advance
         
  • Cash to the driver*

N.B .: Cash payment is only possible for the 4×4 ETNA excursion. For reservations with pick-up at our “Giarre” meeting point or for bookings of more than 4 passengers, cash payment is not available.

If the cancellation was made within the deadline without penalty we will refund the full amount on your credit card or refund by bank transfer.

In the case of payment by credit card:
You do not need to do anything, you will find the full amount directly on your statement within a few days

N.B .: Cancellations by phone or via SMS / Whatsapp will not be accepted

Cancellation

In this case, we will contact you no later than the morning of the excursion day by SMS or telephone to arrange whether the tour should be postponed or cancelled. In case of cancellation there won’t be any costs for you. If you have paid in advance, we will refund the full amount.

Costs: If the cancellation occurs within the terms indicated in the confirmation email or on our website it will not be necessary to pay anything and for pre-paid reservations a full refund will be made. In case of late cancellation there will be no refund.

Transfers

The chauffeur awaits you with a personalized name tag at the exit of the luggage hall.
Please note: During the covid-restrictions, the driver will wait for you directly at the exit of the arrival hall with the name tag.

For a standard pickup (i.e. from a hotel or address), your chauffeur will wait for 15 minutes before leaving the pickup point.
Airport pickups come with one hour of complimentary wait time before the chauffeur will leave the pickup location. If you need more time and the driver is able to wait, there will be a surcharge of EUR 35,00 per every new hour.

If you will bring an animal/your pet with you, please inform us about it during the booking process.

No, the use of the child seat is for free. Please inform us about it in advance, to make sure the driver will provide it.

The service can be cancelled or modified free of charge until 24 hours before service. All changes are subject to availability.
In case of cancellation or changes within 24 hours before service or in case of no-show, the total amount will be charged.

The chauffeur speaks English and Italian

There are two payment options. Please note: Just prepayment will be accepted. Payment on site is not possible.

  • In advance by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Visa Electron, American Express, Diners) Secure online payment
  • In advance by bank transfer (just possible until 7 days before the service)

The full amount will be charged in advance directly during the booking process.
